Clamp-ons

Mueller ‘Clamp-On’, often referred to as ‘plate-coil', ‘Jacket’ or ‘panel-coil’ is a highly versatile product which can be used as a cooling or heating jacket for an existing vessel.

‘Clamp-On’ comprises of double-embossed plates, spot welded and are available as flat or rolled sheet and can be delivered in different grades of stainless steel.

Steam, thermal oil or water can be used as the cooling or heating medium.

Assembling ‘Clamp-On’ to an existing vessel is very easy as it is formed to fit the exact profile of the tank. It can be made with suitable cut-outs to fit around existing manholes, flanges and other connections on the vessel.

To achieve optimum heat transfer, a heat transfer compound is applied between the ‘Clamp-On’ and the existing vessel.
